Rebate Application Form for amounts less than $2,500

Broomfield provides rebates for these WaterSense Certified qualifying fixtures:

  • WaterSense Labeled Toilets 1.1 Gallons Per Flush or Less (up to $100 per toilet)
  • WaterSense Labeled Urinals (up to $100 per urinal)
  • WaterSense Labeled Commercial Weather-Based Smart Controllers (25% of purchase price)
  • WaterSense Labeled Irrigation High-Efficiency or Rotary Nozzles ($2 per nozzle)

NOTE:  Purchases made on or after January 1, 2024 - only 1.1 gallons per flush or less toilets on the EPA WaterSense qualifying model list will qualify for a rebate. DUAL FLUSH TOILET MODELS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR REBATES.

Rebate Program Rules

All application forms must be accompanied by a valid sales receipt or invoice and must include the following information:

  • Date purchased;
  • manufacturer name/make and model number (provide a copy of the cover of the owner's manual or packaging if it is not printed on the receipt);
  • the price for each item; 
  • method of payment (i.e. check, credit card, debit card, cash, etc.)
  • online purchase receipts must also include the purchaser name and installation address. Order confirmations do not qualify as valid receipts.
  • valid receipt(s) may be in the form of an itemized invoice. Taxes and labor are excluded. The valid receipt must indicate the item is paid-in-full.
  • Online purchases must show the manufacturer make and model of the item you are requesting a rebate for. Purchases must show a “paid” status.
  • Rebate funds are limited and are awarded on a first come, first served basis.
  • All rebate applications must be submitted within 90 days of the purchase date. No exceptions.
  • Installation must be completed within 12 months.
  • Only new fixtures qualify and must replace less efficient previous models. Fixtures that are used, refurbished, rented, received from warranty, or insurance claims, exchanged or won as a prize do not qualify for this rebate.
  • Broomfield may request access to a customer's property in order to verify installation of devices eligible for rebates.
  • Failure to cash a rebate check within 90 days of issuance shall void the rebate and shall relieve the City and County of Broomfield of any obligation to pay the rebate. Rebate checks cannot be reissued.
